New Era: With more than 780 items, the collection features eight stories narrated by the cuts, colors and prints of its products, including unprecedented elements in its branded line, such as the jaguar look, and a re-reading of the classic products of the world’s major sports leagues: NFL, NBA and MLB.
New Era, an iconic brand in the sportswear and streetstyle segment, presents its new products for Summer 2023. In an unprecedented collection, which has as inspiration “translate” the brand’s style to Brazil, eight stories were produced: Joyful, Vacation, Vintage, Nature, Classic, Performance, Tecnologic and Core. The main visual elements are those that refer to the favorite season for Brazilians, such as coconut trees, milkshakes, sun and waves, in addition to the iconic logos of the sports leagues – NFL, NBA, and MLB. More than 780 pieces of the collection have just arrived in New Era’s more than 100 physical stores around the country, in addition to e-commerce and authorized multi-brand stores.
“With each collection, our mission is to bring more innovative and attractive products to consumers. We had the challenge of creating lines that would show Brazil who New Era is. Bringing national elements, ranging from pattern design to color selection and, at the same time, keeping the brand’s DNA alive in each of the pieces,” comments Tamires Victorino, product manager at New Era.
For the summer, besides its world-famous caps, the brand also presents a variety of products such as T-shirts, shirts, tank tops, windbreaker jackets, pants, shorts, caps, buckets and boardshorts. In the sports line, the pieces are divided among NFL, NBA, WSL, and MLB – the latter includes items like the New York Yankees cap, one of the most coveted teams by the brand’s consumers. In the Branded area, New Era is betting on a palette with shades worthy of the Brazilian climate for the season. Besides entering the Brazilian fauna and biodiversity, it keeps on vintage, classic narratives and the gamer world.
Check here some of the main highlights of the collection:
With Brazil being the focus of the narrative, the Joyful line was inspired by the national fauna and uses a color cartel with fresh and vivid summer tones. As a visual element, it mixes the tropical climate and native animals in its prints, creating a connection with the roots. As a great highlight, the Onça Pintada and the Arara Azul, both found in the Amazon rainforest and in danger of extinction.
Vacation is a line inspired in the season that is synonymous with travel and, because of the heat, the beach. With this, the products have prints of coconut trees, sun, drinks, and stripes that recall the classic beach chairs. The colors refer to the coastal horizon, with shades of sand, blue and washed down sea and sky, green vegetation and sunsets.
The Vintage theme has a strong sportive influence and was created based on versatility and elegance, united to a timeless and classic style. The brand brought more subtle tones to the products and, at the same time, vibrant nuances. Besides the famous letters inspired by the American high school aesthetics, golf elements were also inserted, adding refinement to the everyday clothes.
